I would like to know who killed the ever so entertaining Going Commando thread. Damn them.
I killed a perfectly good one yesterday about a lady who kept chatting to DH's dinner guest, meanwhile DH walked off and no one noticed.

I am. I have also been known to start threads that never get off the ground and sit for infinity with their sad little '0 Replies'

There used to be a buddy group of thread killers....
I've found the trick is to get in early. I don't bother responding if there's nothing unique to say about a topic.

I like that way of thinking!ETA I just realised that I wrote exactly the same comment as a PP.
I'm a mod on another forum and I frequently kill posts. It's like no one is game to reply after me if I have to remind people how to be nice to one another

I think it's more like showing up at a party fashionably late, only to realise that all the cool people have gone off to a club already, and all that's left to eat is dried up kabana chunks and watered down punch.
I'm pretty good at it. But I also like the last word in real life too. Or so DH says.....
Sometimes there are threads I wish people would kill...
