Mum to two boys!! :O
DS2 is turning 4 soon. He's never had a scooter and I'm thinking of getting him one. I like the Micro scooters because they just seem so popular and well made. I am just unsure which one to get him.

The micro mini says suitable for up to 5 years which only gives him a year. unsure.gif
The maxi says suitable from 5 years so would it be too big for him now? He's fairly big for his age. The advantage of this one is that his big brother would be able to borrow it too.

I know some people say to go straight to a two wheeler at this age but neither of my kids are very co-ordinated and he's a bit physically nervous so I think the stability of the three wheeler would be better for him.

Any and all advice appreciated. original.gif

Def get the maxi. The handlebars will be too low on the mini. They are adjustable on the maxi. My 4 yo has the maxi and it's perfect and should last a few years. She is definitely too tall to ride her little brother's mini comfortably.

My 3 and 6 year old both have the maxi micro scooters but not the mini one. I have seen it at the park and my 3 year old (big boy) would crush it! So my advice is to get the maxi micro scooter.

My friends kid had a 2 wheeler and after seeing my kids she bought the maxi, you can do so much more on it.

Kids love them. It reminds DP and I of snowboarding the way they carve, it's awesome and guess what? We are getting the adult version next week!! LOL

I recommend the Maxi for kids over 2.5yrs. Its very sturdy and my boy goes so well on it. Will get years of use out of it.
