QUOTE (kmaharaj @ 22/05/2012, 10:30 AM) *
She pampered her body and looked after it as she believes, that loving your body will make your body think that you are now ready to have a bub...when you are stressed and depressed, your body doesn't want to take on the added stress of getting pregnant again (remember the nausea etc)...she said, facials, massages, good healthy food, reflexology, and just relaxing with candles helped her fall pregnant 2 times in the space of 5 months.

I think there's some sense in this - after my second m/c, I spent a lot of time meditating on and affirming how awesome my body was. It knew something wasn't right with the LO, and so it did absolutely the right thing. Not only that, but it got back into it's normal cycle so quickly, giving me really clear signs that I was ovulating again.

Not quite the same I know, but still appreciating how strong and amazing my body is.

I think I'm going to take it one step further and indulge in some pampering!

kmaharaj - Thank you! I had a great day yesterday, and we went to Movida last night - fantastic food. Both DP and I are real foodies, so it was a great way to spend the evening.

Sorry you're not sure about O, and that the cramping isn't helping.

Clare

sad.gif cry1.gif cry1.gif cry1.gif

I just went to the loo and well CD 20 (today) and had lots of creamy CM. That's more CM than i produced this whole cycle or in the last cycle. WTF! The cramping around left and right "hip"..intensifies and then stops...not sure what's going on.

Any thoughts???? Aargh i can't be O'ng this late right? shrug.gif I am going to go at lunch and buy one of those OPK's to test at home. I am so so so so so so so frustrated right now. rant.gif ddoh.gif ddoh.gif ddoh.gif

Okay, TMI alert....

...but do you mean creamy or eggwhite? 'Cos if it's creamy, then I usually get that after O - I think it's a sign that your progesterone is increasing.

So if that were my cycle, I'd be assuming that I'd already O'd. In fact, today is CD20 for me too, and I'm getting creamy CM.

Not sure about the cramping though - I never get any O pains, never have, so can't really comment on that.

I think getting the OPK is a good idea, just to put your mind at rest.

Hello ladies and welcome to our newies!!

Just a quick post, just got back from long weekend away and have been busy catching up on all your posts (been busy girls).

Sorry Blue Cup about your BFN, dont worry you will kick ass next month!! It will happen when the time is right!! hhugs.gif

AFM - had a great weekend away, so relaxing and FUN!. Truth in what Kmarahaj said we need to enjoy and pamper ourselves more... I know i was on a weekend away but even doing the small stuff (walk, bike ride, shopping ha) makes this whole TTC journey better. Even BD was better, i was more relaxed and didnt feel like it was a job i had to get done! And this morning i had to leave early and didnt feel like BD so didnt (even thou it was Day 14 and our last shot). But still managed to BD CD11, 12 and twice on CD 13 so in with a shot i guess. Thinking i O around Day 14,15? But if not this month, we will just keep trying and i am going to try and enjoy the present and all that it has to offer. (and yes even thou we all want our bub, there are benefits of not having a baby, and we will never get this time back once we do get our bub, so i am going to try and enjoy more!!)

Have a great week all xx

Kmaharaj creamy CM isn’t fertile CM. It happens after you O original.gif Could you have maybe O’d a week ago and the pains are implantation? That’s a great idea your friend gave you. DH keeps telling me to go get a massage/mani/pedi but I never bother doing it.. I really should. Not sure if it would help. I always burn candles in the house. I LOVE the mood they set and the beautiful scents hheart.gif It is hard not to stress when TTC though. DH is always telling me to relax but it’s really hard.
BlueCup oooh nice original.gif I’ve always wanted to go to China. I got my BFP the day before my holiday to Singapore/Thailand.. Obviously I miscarried but that was a few weeks after I got home. Typical to be TTC for ages and getting a BFP before an overseas trip. We figured we weren’t going to get a BFP and were going to start IVF once we got back from our holiday and then a BFP pops up.. It was so amazing I could not believe it. I don’t think the holiday itself made me miscarry but I have my suspicions about the air travel and the vaccination I had the week before we left. I had some spotting while I was in Thailand but it was only very minimal and I had it for 2 days.. I think its a great thing to plan a holiday. Who knows maybe the thought of a relaxing holiday helped us to get our BFP!?
Clare L Happy Birthday to you for yesterday grin.gif Got to love the 2WW. It’s hard not to think about it hey. Every day I count down and think.. only xx more days hehe.. I hope you got it too original.gif

wishing i have had these pains over the last few cycles and always a BFN so trying not to read too much into it. As for pampering, maybe listen to DH for a change huh and just relax and read what Hope has said.

Hi all,

The pampering sounds great. I had a super hot bath with bubbles on Sun night, surrounded by twinkly lights and candles. heavenly. we have 2 bathrooms and no bathtub inside, so we installed one in our outside verandah, and we run a hose out of the laundry window and drain out into the back yard down pipe. When not in use it has a slat bed top and cushion, as a large bench seat. We have blinds in the verandah which I pull down for privacy, and a bi fold screen to screen me from the back door in case of unexpected visitors. Takes a bit of preparation, but so worth it... particularly nice if it is dark, and raining onto the tin roof original.gif Lovely!

I managed to get myself completely drunk last night with a couple of work colleagues. Still feel seedy today and am working from home (thankfully I have that option). My DH advises that I was "very funny" when I got home. Apparently I stripped off in the kitchen and demanded a BD in the lounge room in front of the heater. He is an obliging chap. I have vague recollections but don't recall getting naked in the kitchen. oops. blush.gif I don't expect to O until Fri/Sat, so that's probably a good thing. I'd rather be a little more sober than I was last night!

kmaharaj - hope the cramping has stopped. does this mean you are now in the 2WW period?

sorry no more personals from me - head is too fuzzy to think straight unsure.gif
