I got my mum a ticket to see "Menopause: The Musical"
She was so disappointed when she couldn't get tickets when it was showing in Newcastle. So, I'll take her out to lunch and then the matinee performance, and then we can head back to my place or the local japanese for dinner and watch silly movies and drink wine.  my mum.

Am tossing up between what she gave me for my 40th this year, in other words nothing, or an apology letter for cutting her out of my life.
I am so torn between needing her as she's my mother but hating the narcissistic person that she is. I want to have her back in my life but I am sick of my children and I being hurt again and again by her lies and delusions. When she is sane she is my wonderful 'Mummy' that I know and love but when she is mentally ill she hurts my children and I so much metally and emotionally  .

MIL has requested a donation to a children's charity of our choice. So she will get a card and bunch of flowers on the day. |
