Alex was plagued with injury after injury yet still lost almost as much as Margie. To me he worked harder than she did. Plus he's almost 20years her senior. No WAY is Margie more deserved than he is. His only downfall was not voting her out! rolleyes.gif

Wholeheartedly agree. To achieve such a loss at his age and with his injuries is an inspiration!

Well neither Michelle/Hamish or Simon/Lisa looked very lovey dovey last night.

Lisa was blushing and practically falling over herself everytime they mentioned Simon, I think they will be great together!

I do hope Michelle and Hamish work out too..

i thought she looked like Liz Hayes

I thought they all looked better than me, I'm jealous!

Alex really is a champion, I laughed when Commando said he had nine lives, so true! I think he will do well on the outside..

The winner of the night was-Commando! Enough reason for me to be watching again next year...original.gif

swimming in a sea of chocolate! :)
If you recorded the show the clothes suppliers should be on the closing credits.

Or ask on TBL facebook page. original.gif

On the BL Facebook page latest discussion regarding the winners etc (which is over 1000 posts long)

Brenda has replied with this:

There was also this posted, not sure how they know all this, or how true it is.

This has been confirmed by a source connected to the show regarding Hamish/Michelle & Simon/Lisa.

* Hamish and Michelle DID break up for a little bit as they thought their relationship was made only for the camera's. They did like each other all along, but struggled to have a relationship with the producers interfering for the sake of the show.

But in a turn of events, the source tells me that they're getting back together now the show is done. They're taking it easy and getting to know each other without all the fuss and camera's. I believe Hamish is either living in Melbourne to be closer to Michelle or is planning to move to Melbourne.

* Lisa and Simon have DEFINITELY split up. Don't know what happened between finale & now, but they have since broken up.

eta: their make-up artists need to be fired, or at least re-trained in natural looking makeup. The only girl who didnt look like a complete idiot in their makeup was Tiffany, but she looks like that all the time so....

This was ALL I could focus on during the close up shots! So glad it wasn't just me then. They did such an awful job on everybody!

I didn't watch much of the season but I love the finale, particularly those massive weight losses. Am I the only one who wasn't overly impressed with Michelle's singing? I loved her singing Amazing Grace acapella earlier in the season but didn't love last night's song. Also thought it was really strange to choose a Delta song with the popularity of The Voice at the moment.

Selena...she just makes me angry most of the time, but I did feel a bit sorry for her because I think that it would have been quite humiliating to have done so poorly on her own after quitting the show.

Good on Margie. I didn't see enough of it to have an opinion on her personality, but from what I saw she obviously works hard and deserves to win (like Alex).

Now I have to go from watching The Biggest Loser at the gym to watching Masterchef. Less motivating...
