just wondering if anyone has read death comes to pemberley and did you like it. i love jane autin so i am very interested in this book.

I have read it. It reminded me of Pride and Prejudice but more of a murder mystery so it was a bit spotty for me. To be honest it was like a tv adaption of a book based on Jane Austin's characters, although that said I think it was partly because it was based more on Fitzwilliam Darcy's point of view and Elizabeth was barely in it at all.

I am a huge Jane Austen fan. I didn't love the storyline but P D James nailed the characters and the period. I was impressed from that point of view.
