Don't you monitor your kid's on the net?

Good taste, bad taste, who cares. It's the internet. Do you all immediatly believe everything you see on the net?

She read the thread title over my shoulder, but thanks for your advice and concern. original.gif

Have used this as a lesson in "don't believe everything you read"

I'm not a fan either but I felt sick yesterday when I read the title of the thread. I even called out to DH to tell him. Glimpsing at the title which said he was 35 and died of cardiac arrest left me feeling sick as this is mine and DH's age.

Of course it only took me a few minutes to realise the hoax but honestly, I didn't get the humour. All it did was leave me feeling a bit depressed thinking that this could have been my DH to pass suddenly and expectantly.

My war paint is Sharpie ink
Tt never really occured to me how much these hoax things really upset people. They seem to happen so regularly I take random death announcements with a grain of salt. I did find something really upsetting about a loved one in the newspaper recently. It was rough finding out that way so I imagine that's something like how family and friends of celebrities feel. I take it a little more seriously now. Before I was just suprised anyone ever got away with it for more than a minute. And very suprised when other news agencies pick up and carry the story on.
