What oven cleaner do you use and find effective? My oven is overdue to be done and I want to find a good product to use, I've not been happy with the last few products I've tried.

would love to know the answer too!

What I did find good for all the racks was....fill your laundry sink with water and clothes washing powder. Leave over night. I found with a scourer all the grime came off really well. Actually it was really gross to see all the grease on the top of the water in the morning!

As for the inside of the oven I have not been very happy with anything....wondering how much it would cost to get a professional to do it?

I use EzyOff Bam Oven Cleaner. It's one of the only chemicals I use for cleaning, but I love it so much. Works quickly, wipes off easily and I don't choke from the fumes.

I've found this to be the bet chemical cleaner for a big clean. Then I try to keep it that way with non chemicals.

The racks can be run through the dishwasher.

Once washed take them out while they are still warm as the really baked on stuff doesn't all come off. A quick run over with a scourer will bring them up like new.

We moved into a house that had been rented and the oven was terrible, hadn't been cleaned for years. We used Ovenu, I think they are called, the professionals. It was sparkling brand new looking in about an hour. Beats me scrubbing it for hours on end!
I recommend the pros if your oven is really bad.
