Bub and I recently finished up a brilliant stint at sleep school - by the end of it she was sleeping through the night and taking 2-3 naps a day. The first couple of days at home were *ok*, naps were more difficult and she woke up a couple of times, but we figured it was just adjusting the routine to home life.
Unfortunately then she came down with gastro, puking and bouts of diarrhea through the night. As she was so sick we reverted back to demand feeding to avoid her getting dehydrated (she was given gastrolyte in the ER so it was a real possibility, unfortunately she also doesn't take a bottle). Her tummy seems to have settled down again now, but the napping isn't coming back. At sleep school she started napping on he first day (!) but so far the longest nap we've managed is about half an hour. Can anyone reassure me that they've had a similar experience and then their bub managed to go back to napping again? Losing my mind at the moment |
