Thank you RJH. im in shock alittle. i was not expecting an offer until after october. im doing a pre uni course starting july. so i have to pass that.

now i have my offer and will be accepting. i will be doing fulltime study with 5 kids. is there anyone doing this? if so what are your weeks like?
i will have 3 at school fulltime and 2 at home. i am getting an au pair starting january.
im i crazy? my hubby is supporting me. he wants me to go for it and get it out of the way. after i do the 3yrs nursing i will do the 1yr midwifery.

I'm just finishing my first semester but don't have 5 kids! I have a 2yo and one due in September!!

Hi Catherine,

I'm doing full-time nursing with 5 kids. It's hard, but you can do it (I also work). This is the first year all of mine are at school. I'll be finished by the end of this year, which is really exciting.

Congratulations on your offer. This is the start of your new life!

oh wow yay for studying with 5kids. how did you go in your first 2years? im not sure how the kids will go. i know in the end it will work out fine bu it scares me alittle also.

I don't have 5 kids, but I have 3. It has worked pretty well for me. We have more placement than the nursing students, but have managed well with the support of my husband and parents. If you have an au pair you should be fine if she is flexible to work around shift work when you are on placement.

im kinda thankful that my hubby is a teacher and has set hours and days. will make me doing shift work so much easier to handle.
