I was feeding 11 week old DD late last night and started thinking about her habits and was wondering what other babies get up to.
For example, when I was trying to establish a routine that would get her into bed at 7pm for the night, I started with a shower (she hates the bath) at 6pm, followed by a feed.
So now when I hand her out of the shower to be dressed, if she doesn't get fed within about 2 minutes of being dressed she throws a little tanty!

She now goes down for the night at 9pm, but will happily have a little nap after her feed, but lately, no matter what time I have dinner ready, she ALWAYS wakes up so we either have to pop her in the bouncer or if she is upset take turns of holding her while the other eats.

Also, (not a habit but kind of funny except for the middle of the night) when she is feeding she pulls herself off then starts wailing, as though it is my fault she has stopped feeding!

And she never rolls over while we are watching (tummy to back) only when we turn away! biggrin.gif

My 12 week old DD will pull herself off while feeding and either give me a huge smile or a death stare as though it's my fault. She is also a grumbles when she first wakes up and if you don't give her some time to wake up on her own she gets so stroppy! Kinda like me in the morning ha ha. I'm not looking forward to those toddler tantrums because I can see her temper already!

She also "talks" to the ducks hanging off the top of her rocker...she has great chats with them! Very cute

When daddy gets home from work he is allowed to have cuddles for about 5-10 minutes before getting told off and bounced on for it to be bath-time. DS *loves* bath-time!

Also when picked up DS will very cutely lay his head on our shoulder while sneaking a hand up to steal our glasses - which then go straight in his mouth if not intercepted quick enough.

DD9 never wanted a dummy as a baby but started a habit of sucking her tongue against the roof of her mouth for comfort. What amazes me is she still does it to this day while watching tv at night, reading a book, etc.
