Hello,
This is my 3rd pregnancy, my first was a MC at 11 weeks, 2nd was my daughter and now onto 3rd..almost 8 weeks. The 1st pregnancy I had no real symptoms that I can remember (2007) certainly no morning sickness. 2nd one I did from about 6 weeks til 14 weeks. I am a little worried as I have yet to have any MS. The only symptoms are tiredness and at times dizziness. I tend to have a sensitive stomach so am worried this one will result in MC. Has anyone had completely different symptoms in their pregnancies and all been ok? I'm not wishing for MS ( I remember how horrible it was) but kind of am IYKWIM. Thank you ladies. |

All of mine have been different. The first I wasn't literally sick very often but so so nauseous , the only thing that would help was food and I got PE later on. The second one I was literally sick and off food in the first trimester and dog tired the whole time. This one, no real m/s but I got migraines in the first tri and a few dizzy spells up to now. Nothing like the yuk, hangover feeling of m/s in my first two pregnancies.
As for early preg symptoms, the first two were similar with tiredness, nipple changes, funny mouth tastes, sore boobs and feeling yuk. The third has been slightly different with lots of diareah/ upset tum, migraines and Nothing else early on. Each one has been different for me. |

Mine have been different - the first I was exhausted, felt incredibly queasy and was always STARVING! But this one I have had one or two days of feeling a little out of sorts (I'm currently 13 weeks), but that's it. Otherwise I feel completely normal (apart from the salt/carb cravings!) I had myself convinced the pregnancy was not progressing but thankfully I was proved wrong when I had my first scan.
Good luck |

All of mine have been different OP, as have my m/c's. That's the scary part. You never really can know in the early days.

6 pregnancies here and all different and yet there were common themes so to speak.
I loved beetroot, red meat and peanut butter. Only had morning sickness in 2/6. Tiredness 2/6. Vivid dreams 1/6. Spotting 1/6. Sore breasts 2/6. Heavy breasts 3/6. Stretching pains 4/6. Pregnancy brain 3/6. Pimply skin 3/6. Frizzy hair 2/6. Frequent urination 1/6. Each pregnancy had a combination of the symptoms but no two pregnancies had the same combo. |

Mine were completely different and like you I worried that everything that was different was a bad sign. I think once you've had a m/c you always have that worry - I miss how blissfully ignorant I was of everything that could go wrong during my first pregnancy!
First pregnancy - no morning sickness, no changes to breasts, no cravings - in fact pretty much no symptoms. Began to show at about 12 weeks I thnk. Second pregnancy (ended in m/c) I was a little nauseous but other than that nothing. Third pregnancy (current) My God! I have been REALLY nauseous, gone off certain foods with a vengeance, craved things I don't normally like (mint biscuits, the smell of tea tree oil etc) my breast are SO tender they hurt to touch and are enormous, I am really tired, sore lower back and getting more headaches than normal. I also began to show really early and now at 15 weeks am huge. But I am just so grateful to be pregnant after two awful years of infertility issues that I don't care! |

Thanks for the replies ladies and for posing the question, OP.
Libertine - excellent answer. I'm just so darn glad to be pregnant again.... For me, each has been been different and that has given me hope since my previous 3 have all been losses. First (ectopic) - low back pain, spotting and frank bleeding but no pain Second (MMC 7 weeks) - metallic taste in mouth, back pain, sore breasts, nausea, a cow to be around (now agree with DH) Third (early incomplete) - nothing This time around, and it's going to be a sticky bub, I just know it! I'm around 6 weeks (IVF baby). Early symptoms but could've been all those drugs - no bleeding or backache - extreme fatigue at 5 weeks onward - breasts larger from week 5 and tender though tenderness settled these last few days - all day dull headaches - in a pretty good mood most of the time!!! Will let you know how I go after next week's viability scan. Hang in there, everyone. PCM XXXX |
