Hi,
Been a year since I had been to the forum, been a year since I had a m/c. DH and I have started trying again, and, it's been only a few months but, I have to admit I am feeling slightly frustrated. I found it quite hard to deal with the m/c, hence, we waited a bit until I felt I was ready again. Having said that, since the d&c, I had experienced very light periods, still my regular 28 day cycle, however, my periods have gone from 3 days to 1. I have become very sensitive to cold temperatures too. What have others experienced, in terms of changes to their body, after a d&c? Thanks. |

Sorry to hear of your loss. I had 2 d&c's and had noticed a few minor changes to my body but it passed. I would suggest going and seeing your GP and asking for your Thyriod to be checked as the symptoms you are describing are signs your thyriod may not be functioning properly. Its a simple blood test so its not invasive. Wishing you all the best. |

Thanks 4s.
I wonder if there had ever been any botched d&c? I had done a bit of reading and the likelihood of it is almost nil but ... |

A friend of mine had that and it turned out there was a bit of scaring and she went back to have it corrected. She was pregnant the next month. Go back for a scan to see

I'd def get your thyroid checked. You can't over estimate the control an ill functioning thyroid has over your entire health, conception included. Good luck
