I have the hot food organized but need ideas on the sweets!

What would you serve at a 7 year old birthday party?

sanity is over-rated
most 7yr olds love standard party foods:

fairy bread
chocolate crackles
honey joys
fruit with chocolate to dip in
bowl of lollies
bowl of chips

I stick with very simple for 7yr olds

chicken nuggets/party pies/sausage rolls, or mini pizzas
fairy bread
fruit platter
bowl of lollies, bowl of chips.
marshmallowes
Jelly cups

and of course, birthday cake original.gif

I don't think lots of lollies are a good idea because they all go crazy.

I usually do

vegie and dip platter
turkish bread
chips
fruit platter
cake
1 fruit juice popper each
water

party bag with lollies

Yeah, I'm a party pooper but the kids still really enjoy our parties!

Best wishes
