I also love Jamie Oliver's children's names for their adorable weirdness. They are pretty unusual but also incredibly cute names.

Poppy Honey Rosie Oliver
Daisy Boo Pamela Oliver
Petal Blossom Rainbow Oliver
Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver

Jamie Oliver's children's name are ridiculous, but not quite as ridiculous as calling your son Rugby.

A brother to Cricket (girl).

Ouch.

I just read a shocking spelling of a beautiful name and had to rush into here to tell you all. These days whenever I hear an unusual name I always think what would the EB name people think of that.

The name was Charlyt!!!!! How terrible is that!!!

On another note I noticed with glee in the latest Jodi Picoult book Lone Wolf there is a character called Le-a even though in my e reader it is spelt L,a it is pronounced in the traditional way :-)

I once came across a little girl called Sequoia.

I still think it's a ridiculous name for a person.

My cousin called her son Rustyn (my mother asked had he been in the rain for too long)

Also saw a birth announcement the other day for a Kymburrleigh.

My mother is a midwife and she looked after a little boy named Diamond the surname was Sparks.

My mother has seen some very weird and wonderful names in her time can't think of anymore at the moment though original.gif

OK, don't know if this counts, but on the train I heard this young girl (17 ish?) declaim loudly to her neighbour that when she has a baby she's going to call it "Starr Cittee" (she spelt it out, I think that was it) - ie, after the big casino.
