Hi There

Im now 44, went through early menapause, and found it very difficult to find an egg donor here in Australia, that committed, or didnt ask for big amounts of money, even after these people know how much I had spent already.
I may sound ungreatful to these people, but seriously, its a very hard road finanacially and emotionally, we all know that, who has been through IVF.
And paying donors here in Australia is illegal, however many are driven by financial gain.

I have spent well in excess of 60k trying to concieve, and then had to find a donor, after finding out my eggs were not healthy enough.

Its very hard to find a donor in Australia, but I guess not impossible.

Im off too Thailand shortly for my first transfer. The experience so far has been, easy easy easy,
no stress, or waiting for my donor to back out, or not work out, for one reason or another.

I can now just sit back and wait to be advised when to fly over.

I cant recommend it highly enough.

I wished I had done this earlier.

Now I pray my transfer works original.gif))

Hi Ruby. I'm just starting out researching overseas egg donation and will be contacting a few agencies in the next fews days in South Africa. Are you able to message me the centre you are using so I can contact them as well? Many thanks Lisa

Good Day all

I am a South African 3rd time egg donor, I came across this site in an attempt to obtain more information on donating specifically, and after reading your comments thought I would pop a quick comment from a donors perspective.

SA is a beautiful country and if you are considering an Egg Donor I would suggest CapeFertility in Cape Town, they have fantastic Doctors, clean Clinic and professional staff, there is aparently no waiting list (if a few months at all) and we donors here are compensated a fixed amount for our time and effort (not our eggs)
I am only humbled to be apart of this process and assist wherever I can (I would do it for free).

I wish all you ladies the best in your Journeys to becoming mommy's.

xx

Hi ruby ruby hope you don't mind me joining in this discussion. Thanks for posting cathies details. I have contacted her & she seems lovely. Can I ask how far into the process you are & how easy has it been.
