Can someone recommend me some books to read to my toddler for toilet training. She is not quite there yet, but does like to sit on the potty and she has a doll that goes to the potty, but she hasn't quite made the connection between the feeling that she needs to go and going to the potty - usually she wants to sit on the potty after she has already gone.
I have one book but after some more. I've also tried just randomly searching in the library but thought some titles might help guide my searching (or I could take advantage of book depository's 10% discount). Ones with "real" pictures and ones with characters would be good. |

[/size]I used Pirate Pete's Potty (http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Pirate-Petes-Potty-Ladybird-Potty-Training-Ladybird/9781409302209)along with this novelty potty (http://shop.bigpond.com/Product.asp?Action=Detail&ID=168027)that converted to a seat on the toilet which helped with the transition frompotty to toilet. My niece and nephew also loved the book.

I have Princess Polly's Potty actually (and we have also read Pirate Pete's because I gave it to my nephew).
Will check out "On my Potty" Any other suggestions. |

I'm in a similar situation. My toddler knows when she needs to go but she's a little bit scared after she has done a wee or poo in it, she freaks out and shouts "yucky!!!".
I'll look for those books already suggested, are there any other fantastic ones? |
