Hi Lovemylife, fancy the first 2 people in this DIG being from the TTC#2 group! I got my bfp this morning as well at 13dpo. My EDD is 4th Jan 2013 at this stage. It seems weird to be thinking about next year already! Went to see the Dr today to get confirmation bloods done, expect to get the results either tomorrow or Monday. Look forward to seeing this DIG fill up as more people get the good news!

Yay, I was feeling real wierd and lonely about being the 1st poster on here!!!

This will be bub number 2, DD is 9 and a bit months, was a planned birth centre birth, but ended up being a caesarian for failure to progress.
Im hoping for a HBAC this, but judging by the current HB climate, Im not sure that will happen, but will be happy with a hospital birth.

How about you?

I had a very interesting birth with DS. He is 18mo next wk. It was an induction as i was 2wks over. He had a massive head and was presenting posterior and ultimately got stuck and never progressed past 3/5 engaged. After trying all the induction methods (foley's catheter, gels, ARM and the drip) i got to 8cm but he never came down. The cord was around his neck and he got distressed and i ended up with an emergency c sect. Even though it sounds fairly full on, I was really happy with how it was done. My DH however, was fairly traumatised. I had a great recovery. I'm opting for an elective csect this time, as I'm comfortable with the option and DH isn't comfortable with the risks of a VBAC and its not something i feel especially strongly about.

Hi ladies, I tested this morning as well. Not confirmed by GP yet. Only got a very faint line. EDD is 3rd Jan, going by dates, but I think due to my body's poor compliance of normality, (and the faintness of the line) I think the EDD is 10th Jan. Will just have to wait for the dating scan, too. On all these threads, ppl talk about date of ovulation and luteal phase, and I'm a bit clueless. This of course has made it hard for gender swaying! I already have a 2 and an almost 4 year old. This little bub will complete our family which every way wink.gif

Morning Girls!

Well, I held out until AF was due and tested this AM and it's a teeny tiny +. TBH I'd have thought that waiting until 14 DPO would give me strong signal, but hey, I'll take whatever

I am going to take it with a grain of salt though, as it's so early and I didn't even think we'd catch the egg this month.

I had a missed miscarriage in February and was subsequently diagnosed as having had a partial molar pregnancy. Technically we've gone against the Doc's advise in TTC before August (As if we'd have been able to wait that long), but it was done after a LOT of research and journal reading and mind-numbingly tedious medical jargon interpretation.

Anyways, I think I shall off to the shops this AM and grab a coupl more sticks to pee on before I get too carried away.

Oh, and according to the online calculator thingy, my due date is January 1st.

Sending you all uterine duct tape.

Z

Welcome! waves.gif And congrats on you BFP's!

I have only learnt all about LP and DPO etc since being on EB for my DS! It was all quite full on the first time!

Zarlias - what is a partial molar pregnancy and why did your Dr recommend against TTC? Is it different from most other miscarriages? I have some friends that take ages to get a BFP, even at 14DPO its still faint, so hope that line keeps getting darker!

LoT - were you trying/hoping for a particular gender?

Hi Ladies,

First post for me on any forum but have been following EB for a year now. Been waiting for the January DIG to open to take the plunge and join you girls. Don't want to jinx myself as have had 3 early losses in 12 months, the last in February.

I had a faint BFP last Friday which has darkened this week. Bloods on 14 dpo confirmed and follow up bloods are today. This BFP is the result of a natural frozen IVF cycle (our last embie) but we doubled up with the deed to increase our chances (haven't had a whiff of a positive with IVF to date). So not sure if this positive is the result of IVF or natural, lol. Just glad it's positive and hope it sticks around. Due date 1st January 2013 and it will be our first bub.

Zahlias- I think I'll take some of that uterine duct tape. Hope your pee sticks bring good fortunes.

Congrats to all
