Oh yeah, here's a group of my people Tounge1.gif

I'm doing a 2,500 word social policy analysis - I've got 400 words. It needs to be done today.

I've also got another 2800 word assignment due in tomorrow that I've barely started (a few dot points and citations.. that's it)

A pre-placement plan due on May 2nd, for a placement that I haven't even started thinking about organising.

ARGH.

I always leave assignments to the last minute too. I think I work better under pressure. I usually go without sleep until I am done, then I go to work the next day...

Some of you guys are hardcore! I wish I could just get assignments done quickly but I am such a procrastinator and only have very brief flashes of concentration, hence why it takes me so long to get done.

Anyway I got the b*st*rd in - got to bed about 1.30am then up again at 5am to finish off.

I'm going to do a bit of a list of stuff I have to get done so hopefully it might motivate me a bit;

Accounting
1. Listen to lecture from last week and take notes. Remind myself not to be lazy and miss lectures;
2. Do some questions from the tutorial this week to practice statistics;
3. Keep trying to contact group about second part of assignment due in 3 weeks. Quietly have a heart attack if they have dropped the course;
4. Prep flash cards to study for final exam.

International business
1. Prep flash cards to study for final exam;
2. Start next assignment due in 4 weeks;
3. Keep attending extra tutorial class.

Superannuation
1. Go over lecture notes from one I missed (the one he didn't tape of course!);
2. Talk to person I am doing next assignment with and divide task;
3. Prep flash cards to study for final exam.

sick of CHAOS? then FLY...
I usually end up having to cut words (maybe I dribble wink.gif) so last week I had to cut 2500 words from a 3000 word critique lol.

I do usually work better with a close-ish deadline approaching and always telling myself I'll never do it again... hmmm.
But this time,

I can't do that.

I won't do that.

Sing it with me!

I've got 2000 words and a lesson plan due in tomorrow and I'm struggling with it. I just can't get motivated about a very open ended topic and a tutor that doesn't give any guidance. I've laid out the basics of the lesson plan, but still have to convert it to "fancy" language (which annoys me, because if I were making the plan for myself to use in a classroom, I wouldn't be putting in references!!!), and have sort of/kind of/maybe/ish laid out part of the essay. Really not sure how I'm going to get it done by tomorrow. And it's worth 60% of my grade.

I've also got to submit a stupid movie thing tomorrow that I haven't started yet, but I'm not too concerned, because if it doesn't go in on time I'll only lose 2 marks off my total, so the other assignment needs to take priority.

ARGH! Not having fun yet!!
