DD1 = 1-1.5 hours but I think I was really only doing it properly for the last bit.
DD2 = 20 minutes. I didn't waste any time "pushing into my bum". |

I think it was about 1.5 hours - but I was pretty out of it.
Started labour at about 7:30am (on the drip), was all over by 1:47pm. They didn't realise I was so close to the end when they gave me a shot of pethadine, and were about to set up for a remifentanil PCA when they realised I was already pushing (involuntarily) and ready to go. I'd probably been like that for about 1/2 hour before they noticed though 'cause I didn't realise thats what it was. |

15 minutes. The easiest and most painless part of my labour compared to the contractions!

I have no idea with DD1, I was so drugged out. I do know that as soon as I had an episiotomy she slid right out
 DD2 I didn't push, my body forcibly ejected her. The lovely midwife was quick as lightening cutting my knickers off! |

3 1/2 hrs with DS (posterior and they didn't realise). Finally had an episiotomy and got him out.
This one (due in a week and a half) is also currently posterior -really hoping much less pushing this time 
|
