Hi Ladies

So i had some tests done to check everything out and these were my results. Im a little concerned by my result, although the dr says NORMAL i think 6.9 is rather low as everything i read it should be minimum of 10? The month i took Vitex (last month) ended up with a pregnancy but miscarried 5 days after i stopped taking it leadimg me to believe that i needed that progesterone support?

TSH - 2.3 (Normal 0.5-5.0)
LH - 4.1 (Normal 2.5-12.5)
FSH - 7.6 (Normal 3.5-12.5)
Oestradiol - 103 (Normal 40-600)
Progesterone - 1.1 (Normal <5)
21 day Progesterone - 6.9 (Normal 5-85)
Homocystine - 5.6 (Normal 4-14)

Hey there! My understanding is that Australian levels should be over 20! Do you know how many DPO you were? (should be 7dpo).

I was 8 DPO, 7 DPO fell on a sunday so i went in on the monday morning.

If the blood test was taken in the last day or two you could ask for a repeat, particularly if the LH surge was not confirmed by blood test to have a really accurate picture of the time of ovulation. On a natural cycle without any fertility meds it is usually on the lower side, some Dr's like to see over 10 but others wouldn't be concerned with a result of under 10 as long as there were no other signs of ongoing fertility problems.

It was taken on Monday and there is no point having it redone as i now have my period once again too early which is why i asked for these tests to be done as i believe i have a LPD.

Are they going to put you on progesterone supplements? I'm on them (but I'm doing IUI soon to be IVF) and get really high progesterone levels (like 70) at 7DPO, plus a longer luteal phase. Talk to your doc about going on some kind of progesterone support to extend the LP.

If you are the cycle post a miscarriage your ovulation may have been a little delayed this cycle. I agree your number doesn't reflect you to be 8DPO but sooner.

I was charting so i know exactly when i ovulated. The cycle i had the chemical/early miscarrige i was taking Vitex which is supposed to help with the estrogen/progesterone balance but you cant take that once you get a BFP so i stopped and miscarried 5 days later.

My dr still thinks its normal i dont believe she has much of a clue really, i either need to get a 2nd opinion or maybe see a natropath to help until i hit the 12 month mark.
