In the past we have been full cream milk drinkers but over the last 6 months we now drink skim milk. But I have wonder what milk is best low fat as well?

What kind of milk do you drink in your house?

Non homogonised organic milk from a local dairy. If I could keep a Jersy Cow in my back yard I would milk my own and drink it fresh.

BIG allergies to dairy from all the family here (for years and years), but next to nil reaction, provided we only use A2.
Have a look at their website for all the reasons, blah, blah. We saw (I think it was) ABC's 4 Corners doing an expose about modern milk, allergies and why a swing back to A2 is important. We trialled it (with some trepidation) for ourselves and the difference was amazing. For quite a few years it was only available though selected outlets but consumer demand rose substantially, so now available in the supermarket.
Costs more but saves my family from illness, so I figure that aspect counter balances cost in the end. original.gif

We all drink low fat cheap homebrand milk except for DS who drinks low fat A2, as he has a few bowel issues and is much happier on A2. If I could afford it, we would all drink it, but we go through so much milk and it's too pricey.

Being childless doesn't make me less of a woman
I have been drinking skim for years thinking it was the best one for me because it has no fat. But after reading Sweet Poison and changing my diet to eliminate sugar, I have switched back to full cream milk. It turns out that skim milk is higher in sugar than full cream milk and it's becoming more and more clear to me that fat isn't the enemy.....it's sugar.

I have lost 6 kgs in the last 4 weeks and the only thing I'm doing different is not eating sugar!
