Hi Guys

We are expecting baby #4 and these are the names we like

Boys
Elii Garry
Kayden Garry
Ethan Garry

Girls

it will either be
Kaitlyn Nevaeh
Nevaeh Kaitlyn

Nevaeh means heaven, and my beautiful Gran passed away in January..we would see it as a gift from heaven from my Gran

Sooo which way sounds better? We will of course wait and see, and if its a baby girl, then see what she looks like but I don't want to tell anyone in real life our choices so would love some opions

Thanks

Seeing you boys names I like Nevaeh as a first name. All 4 children with 6 letter names, very cute. Also love that it has special meaning for you and I am sure she will apprecaite it too and see the symbolisim of her name.

Boys names, I vote Kayden first but also love Ethan. Sorry not a fan of Elii, but Eli is fine. If you want to follow your 6 letter theme, how about Elijah and call him Eli??

Is that Elii intentionally with two i's? I like Eli more than Ethan but Ethan more than Elii.

I think I like Caitlin Nevaeh best but I guess you're avoiding two C initials, as you have a Connor? I actually don't get as hung up on that as many EBers do. Or I'd use a name that's traditionally spelt with a K, as in Kaila/Kathleen or even just Kay etc.

Have to admit that Nevaeh tops my most hated names list, so of your two choices I would much rather see it in the MN position.

Although have you thought about using your Gran's actual name?

I vote Ethan from your boys' list.

I'm sorry to say this, but I think Nevaeh is a bit of a joke of a name. It doesn't mean heaven; it's just heaven spelt backwards.

Is there another way you could honour your Gran? Use her first or middle name, for instance? Or use a name like Hope?

This!

I'm sure your gran's name was lovely, if you're going to honour her, use her name not 'neavaehcauseitsheavenspeltbackwards' (why is that name always introduced like that btw)

Totally agree with this. Nevaeh doesn't really mean anything.

I would choose Eli Garry and Caitlin, and find a different middle name.

This - maybe there's another name you could use with the actual meaning 'heaven'?

I think Nevaeh sounds gorgeous. I seriously do not understand why there is such hatred for it. shrug.gif
