I have ruined my one and only nice maternity dress and need to replace it. I actually cried this morning - damn you preggy hormones.

Im looking for a plain t-shirt/stretchy material dress. I would prefer it to be babydoll style or similar that gathers or ties under the bust and flows out. Just above the knee would be great. Sleeveless would also be good or short sleeves. Wraps would be ok too. Of course also a budget price.

This pregnancy all I want to wear is dresses with bd2yo all I wanted to wear was tights and t-shirts.

Please help I dont have the energy to search the shops. Thanks in advance.

Awww, so sorry you cried ! I cried when I was in a food court recently because I couldn't find anything to eat that didn't break the listeria rules. I also got a couple of dresses from Seed, not maternity designed but they still work really well. I got this one in black which I love & is fine for now, and with thick black tights & a long sleeved t-shirt underneath and boots etc., will work in winter. Purely from a personal perspective, I did an order from asos & sent it all back. I find it really hard buying that kind of stuff online without trying on first. But asos is very cheap so might be worth a shot since shipping etc. is good.

I also used ASOS a lot for my maternity wear. Quite cheap and I got a lot of wear out of them.

I was about to suggest this! They have a few dresses in there on sale too - I picked up one of their $30 ones (Jersey Wrap Bust I think?) and it's so comfortable! Soft stretchy material too. I found the sizing (UK sizing?) to be pretty accurate - I'm a 14-16 normally, and the size 16 dress fits perfectly.

I've got a plain black Bonds T shirt material, short sleeved dress that I bought from Big W a few weeks back. It comes in grey and ?grey/ black stripes and was about $35.
I've worn it and washed it heaps, its been my best clothing buy this pregnancy.

Pricey but worthwhile. I wore this throughout my pregnancy to work and to more formal events. Extremely versatile. It is a tshirty stretchy fabric. Washes really well but needs a bit of a press on the skirt before you wear it (well, it does with my washing machine). It also works pre-bump and will work post - bump, so think of it as a wardrobe staple you can wear pregnancy or no. My best buy of the pregnancy.

Another who seconds ASOS, particularly now you can return items to an AUS rather than UK address. There is a sale on now as well.
