There's a snake inside my house and it's definitely NOT a carpet python (might be a tree or whip snake (not sure). I've got it trapped in the spare toilet and now I'm not sure what to do ???? *eeek!*

Call the local council, who should be able to put you in contact with a snake catcher.

I would be freaking out, if it was me!

OMG I am petrified of snakes!!!! You sound a lot calmer than what I would be. I would be out of that house by now making phone calls from my car on my mobile tongue.gif

I'd get out of the house and either call council rangers or snake catchers.

I'd but tape along the bottom of door so there is no gap for it to get back out of. Your local council or CALM should be able to put you in contact with someone. Eww good luck. Have you any idea how it got in? I would be trying to where it could have gotten in.

I know someone who had a regular problem with snakes in her house, she got a team of friends together with "No more gaps" guns, and filled every single crack or hole possible. She hasn't had a problem since.

It must have come in through the laundry door (glass sliding door). I left it open as I was drying some clothes in the drier.

sanity is over-rated
you are doing better than me...

my solution would be to run out of the house saying "you can keep it!" and finding somewhere else to live....

ok that maybe slightly melodramatic!

How big is it? Can you find a pic on line so you know / wires or your ranger can know what they're coming to deal with?

Don't forget to keep us posted!
