Hi guys,
Any recs for a good all-rounder book on raising toddlers? Something that covers eating, sleeping, health problems and TT. I had the Baby Whisperer Book and am thinking about getting the Toddler version but there's not much on eating in there. Please help! TIA. |

I like reading a range of books and taking the bits I like from each.
I have The Mighty Toddler by Robin Barker. It's a good all round book dealing with behavior, eating, sleeping, TT, health etc. I like it as a reference. It's a fairly balanced approach and overall I find it useful. I also have Kidwrangling by Kaz Cooke (who wrote Upthe Duff). I don't find it very useful and rarely refer to it. There's also Toddler Tactics by Pinky MacKay (sp?). I haven't read it but I get her newsletter and I like her approaches. I think there are also a toddler version of Save Our Sleep and Baby Wise. I don't know anything about them though (and they are bound to be a controversial topic on EB!). |
