lozoodle yay for convincing DP to man up LOL. still having a laugh about his "lazy sperm" do you have a test date planned?

jade lemons are for boys original.gif aparrently they can increase the PH of your vag. i dont know where i saw it now but i heard of someone using a "lime tampon" (i am assuming lime juice infused) for a girl but EWWWWWW. how did you go at the drs yesterday? did they give you any helpful info?

wannapinky im so sorry to hear of your low AMH, sending you huge huge hugs.

afm feeling pretty good today i must say. got back on the treadmill after a month off the wagon exercise and healthy eating wise, then jumped on the scales to find i am 400g down on my pre-off-the-wagon weight. i was shocked cos the past month i have been eating crap every day! i have lost 19kgs since november and am 6kg lighter than pre pregnancy so hoping being at a healthy weight will assist in me conceiving quicker (i had one dr who i saw when i was TTC DD1 for 18 months tell me that i needed to "drop a few kgs" when i was only 70kgs) man i was fuming.

yeah, so i think the exercise endorphins have put me in a good mood today (though tomorrow i will be cursing the exercise LOL) ummm, nothing much going on. CD6 here, going to start OPKs at CD11 and hope that this month i have a cycle under 35 days.

oh, and DD2 is STILL sleeping through. EVERY night since sunday night, i am so excited i want to do a happy dance hahahaha

Jemso - Great news about your DD sleeping through tthumbs.gif I hope it has continued since your post. It is such a relief when sleep starts happening!

AFM - On Monday (CD31) AF arrived.... I'm so confused as I'm pretty sure I didn't O. No CM of any interest and definitely no EWCM. Is it possible for AF to occur without O?

This is only my second AF and the time before my last AF, I had an abundance of CM which lasted almost 10 days with EWCM. AF arrived 8 days later.... I'm confused! (Sorry if TMI)

Has anyone had similar? I'm going to post in TTC while BFing - I'm sure it's all related????

Hope everyone is well - it's been pretty quiet in here original.gif

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this section. I have a DS who is 2 next month, and now that we're settled in a really nice routine and things are easier- we thought we may as well make life crazy again and have another little baby! I would be perfectly happy with either gender, but a little girl would mean we would stop at 2 children. We have a house full of boys when you consider the dog is male too!

Thanks for all the wonderful information posted in the first page of this thread. AF last appeared on 17 April so I think I will O on 1st May. So we have to get cracking over the next few days and then stop from about the 28th April? I hope I have that right? And get cracking on the dairy, nuts and jam! original.gif

Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Will come back to post properly another day but just wanted to say Tarnee that it can be very common not to ovulate while breastfeeding, especially if your cycle has only just come back.

Id love to take a poll but dont know if there's any such function on eb. How many ladies are taking vitex, and is it working for you? Specifically if you had long/irregular cycles beforehand. Also has anyone ever used clomid?

Hello,

I don't really belong here because we won't be TTC for a little while for our second but I'm gathering info about swaying for a girl (since we already have a boy). I find the diet tips very useful but was wondering how long should I follow the 'girl' diet ie. only while TTC, 3 months before beginning TTC or longer? TIA I would like to formally join this buddy group once DH and I decide to go for number 2 but for now we're just talking about it.

Hi girls,

It has been so quiet in here, obviously I have too much time on my hands lol biggrin.gif

Wannapinky - sorry to hear of your troubles! I hope things start looking up for you soon bbighug.gif

Jemso - thanks for your quick reply the other night. You've definitely been a great help to me original.gif My fingers are crossed that this month I o. I dropped my arvo feed a few weeks ago so am now only feeding twice a day.

How's your LO's sleep going?

Ami06 - Welcome! I'm in the stiil talking about it/'not yet' TTC mind frame although my body is making sure it's not going to happen at the moment. DH & I were hoping to start trying towards the end of May so my fingers are crossed that all goes to plan. We too are hoping to TTC a girl!

Someone previously mentioned starting the diet about 6 weeks prior to TTC.... I'm not 100% sure, sorry!

Good luck with your journey and hope to share it with you when you're ready!

_Jade_ - I haven't started Vitex but seriously considering it. Would be interested in that too....

Eta:
Sharkie81 - I'm sorry, I completely missed your post when I wrote this msg and just realised.... Welcome! I hope all went to plan this month.... Good luck!

Tarnee - thanks for msg - trying to stay positive. Try not to stress too much about your cycle atm - my AF and O did not even return until about 1 mth after I completely gave up BF. Although I suppose if you want to BD you can't help but worry about it.

Ami06 - Welcome! When I bought a plan from a-gender (help with gender swaying naturally) they advised me to start diet at least 6 weeks prior to your 'attempt' BDing and for DH it was preferable he start 6-12 wks prior to attempt. Hope that helps. Although we now don't strictly stick to diets as it was getting too much for us after so long on them. If you'd like any more info on a-gender plan let me know.

Jade - I have been on Vitex for 2 mths now and cycle is slowly going back to normal. I am also seeing my OB/GYN on 9th May about going on Clomid (his suggestion) so I can let you know what he thinks about both Vitex and Clomid after that. I also posted a new topic called 'Clomid' on another TTC forum to guage opinions from users of Clomid, but now can't find it to refer you. Basically the women who responded said they mostly felt ok taking it as they took it at night so side-effects could wear off overnight. You start off on 50mg per day for about 5 days at beginning of cycle and it is supposed to force ovulation. As I said, will keep you posted with all the details.

Jemso - thanks for msg original.gif Good luck this cycle and hope you DD2 continues to sleep well. And exercising does make you feel so good doesn't it - I know I'm a much better Mum for doing it.

Sharkie81 - Welcome! Look forward to sharing your journey with you and hope its a positive one.

afm - Nothing much happening. Still on Vitex and on CD26 today which is good. Seeing OB/GYN on 9th May and probably going on Clomid from what he has already told me. Was a bit scary to be told that but after researching it might be ok. Only 7% chance of twins apparently and most women on forums have said it didn't really affect them as badly as I've heard it does.

FX for everyone going for it this cycle.

wow its been really quiet in here....

wannapinky it must be scary facing the possibility of using fertility meds. glad that the clomid doesnt sound as bad as you first thought. from what i have heard it is like a first step when you need some help, and fingers crossed you wont need to go any further.

tarnee eeeee! end of may is getting closer and closer!

jade i am taking vitex and have been taking it for almost 2 months. i have noticed a bit of a difference (1st cycle was 59 days, second 52 days, this one i am on CD17 and looks like it may only be around 35-40 days though i have also stopped breastfeeding DD2 overnight so i think that helps too)

sharkie how are things going? or are you busy at this time of the month LOL.

afm CD17 and OPKs are starting to get darker - i still think it is at least 3 days away though - more likely 5 days. still drinking heaps of lemon water. DD2 is going ok, not as good as initial success with sleeping overnight, and i have had to feed her at 5-5:30 twice now but there is a good 8 hours without feeding there so i think it is helping a lot with getting my cycle back.

hoping to hear back with some BFPs...

v'smummy i think the SMEP is more girl friendly. it is basically what we did to get both DDs.
