Hi Everyone
My DD is often waking herself up having rolled on her stomach. Although she has a lot of tummy time and is strong when placed this way, in the night she wakes up from it. Well I think it is one of the reasons. Anyway, wondering what people can suggest to use in the interim to stop her rolling in the night until she is fine waking this way. My other children also were like this but I am too sleep deprived to be woken up just to roll her over. Suggestions please. Thanks |

Honestly, I'd let her learn to roll and not wake up. She has to learn eventually so it may as well be now.
You'll probably find it'll only last a week or so then she gets over it. |

I agree with Jenflea.
Plus SIDS does not recommend using anything to try and stop them from rolling. |

Our 5 m/o DS was waking every single hour or more, either we had to put dummy in or roll him back onto his back.
We bought a Safe T Sleep wrap, slept way better. He slept in it for about 2 months, maybe a little longer until he was rolling easily back during the day. Now at nearly 8 m/o he is now sleeping without it, rolls around like anything but is able to roll back easily. We were so sleep deprived we had to do something. |

Thanks all. Appreciate replies.
DD does know how to roll - almost too well - it's just at night that there is the issue. Like Lakey I end up getting up a lot to roll her back as she cries and cries and cries. As said I do remember DD1 and DS1 having the same issue but this seems to be going on forever (been 3 weeks). Hopefully this stage will finish soon.....and the next one will begin!! |
