QUOTE (gisses @ 17/04/2012, 04:52 PM) *
AFM- Symptoms, symptoms, SYMPTOMS!
Plenty of TMI here so if you scare easilty, dont read on!
1. Hunger. ALL THE TIME. I feel like gnawing on my desk sometimes. When I do eat, it has to be hot. Hot food, hot drinks (water is the only exception which I am guzzling like an alco with a paper bag). A maccas run for a hash brown in the morning is a daily occurence. Apart from that, I seem to be eating relatively healthily.
2. Nausea. Constant. 24/7. No relief. But I knew it was going to happen. Thank goodness no major chuckies yet but I am sure they will come, as they did last time.
3. Are my pants getting tighter, or did I accidentally put them in a hot wash?! biggrin.gif
4. CM, CM, CM. Thank god for liners, or I think I would slide off my desk chair at work.
5. Constipation. Bad. I think I am bursting, then run to the toilet only to find that I am blocked like fans of one direction at the logies.
6. OMG, Zingiber, my nipples too! Boobies are not hurting but those nips are sensitive. Was giving DD a cuddle the other day after I got out the shower and she went the grab. Stretched my poor nippies about 500m and I almost hit the roof! Just having them rub on my pjs at night drives me nuts!
7. Sore coccyx. Not really a symptom, but a legacy of an old injury and DD's birth. The pregnancy support shorts will be coming back out soon.
8. Extreme tiredness during the day followed by insomnia at night. What, am I nocturnal now?! Although that can change in an instant and some nights I am asleep by 7:30pm.
9. Skin like a pubescent teenager.
10. Hair that could start an environmental oil slick catastrophe (poor penguins).

Is there POSSIBLY anything else, you ask?! Probably but my fuzzy brain cant think of anything (hello, symptom 11).

(told you there was TMI)

Anyway, obviously I have gone a bit batty, so I am off!

OMG thank you gisses for making me laugh so hard at the end of my first day back at work after Easter and me hitting the wall about 3.30pm!!!!

I think I ticked off about 7 or 8 of your symptoms in my head as I was reading through! So metamucil is safe to take isn't it for the constipation? I vaguely remember taking it when pregnant with DS so think I might have to start taking it - the tablets too. God no way I could stomach that vile flavoured drink stuff sick.gif

Sorry I've been MIA - having the time off work I didn't really want to sit in front of a computer on my time off considering that's what I do all day at work!

But hi to all the newbies! And congrats to everyone who has had great Hcg results or seen a heartbeat! Always a little milestone to reach!

And thank you to everyone who advised me re scan or not. I decided to call my GP for a referral and I've got a scan booked in for Monday the 30th when I'll be 8 weeks 2 days so now I just need to get through the next couple of weeks with no dramas and I'll feel a lot better. After booking the appointment I had my first wave of real excitement but managed to get it under control! I'm just feeling a little anxious this week and no doubt next week as I didn't make it past 7 weeks last time but so far so good.

Hope you've all had a great day and I'll try and come back for some personals tomorrow.
