Thanks so much for all your best wishes girls! Obviously still early days so I am aware anything can happen but still just so grateful & surprised. Thankyou for letting me hang around til I have the heartbeat scan - a long way to go yet!

HopingGlad it gives you hope - I've seen many of these "surprise" pregnancies before & never thought it would be me as DH's MFI is so severe & we had such a bad fresh cycle recently I thought our embryo quality must be cr@p. I guess you never can tell. Hopefully it's a sticky one

Spotty Yeah - I think you are right re 4 weeks & 5ish days. I haven't had a period since early March but have always had long cycles & thought I was ovulating a couple of weeks ago so don't think I'm that far along (also checked it compared to my hcg levels with the boys & seems about right). I'm having another BT on Wed & I guess I'll have to have a dating scan sometime to work out exactly where I'm at. Hope the little lone ranger defrosts & works perfectly for you x

wishful Not sure re due date at this stage as not sure how pregnant I am - I think it would be sometime mid-December if my calculations are correct but will have to wait & see. Glad to hear all is going well for you & hope to join you soon!

Look forward to some more action in here - looks as though a few people cycling soon which is great
Em x

Hi ladies,

Just checking in - nothing really to report. Cd13 for me. Think I o'd early this cycle - although i couldn't be bothered using opks so don't know for sure - so might be a shorter cycle for me. Just waiting I suppose...

Emmsie, has it sunk in yet?

A big hello to everyone else - who's cycling at the moment? Spotty? Anyone else?

Buggered right now as DS woke up at 3.10am this morning so will be back soon.

Mickey

Morning girls,

Emmsie, how did your follow up BT go?

Mickey, hope you get some rest today original.gif

AFM, i paid cycle today and have first BT next week, if my previous cycles are anything to go by i would expect to ovulate around day 18 or so. So ET will be in just over 2weeks, closer to 3 if its a longer cycle....

I also asked, because we only have the one embryo left, what would happen to the money, the cycle would be refunded and i could put it towards a full ICSI, so thats good news. Although i want to give this embryo a chance if it lets me.

Have a great weekend everyone.

spotty.

spotty ooh - exciting that it's only a couple of weeks til transfer now. I have such long cycles that I am always so pleased to be gearing up for IVF rather than waiting around. Goodluck! My follow-up BT was on Wed - levels have gone to 8800 so over 4 days from 1500 it's still looking good so far...no more BTs now, just an agonising wait til next Friday for a scan

mickey Poor you - that is an early morning wake-up by anyones standards! It's starting to sink in a bit more now but I'm not wanting to let myself get too excited yet as don't want the disappointment of having a bad scan plus it doesn't seem possible that it could work out OK as it's a natural one (have checked with my FS & he said I don't need to be on pessaries etc or take any luteal support which feels a bit weird)

hoping/glitterz/wishful etc Hope all's going well wherever you're at. Look forward to hearing how it all goes x

Hi girls,

Emmsie, congrats on your surprise. Your BT results sound good. I hope the time passes quickly between now and your scan.

Spotty, whilst it hurts to hand over the money, it must be nice to feel you are on your way again.

Mickey, 3.10 is far too early to be up and playing. I hope you found some time to rest today.

Hi to everyone else.

AFM - AF is threatening. I think day 1 will be tomorrow. And that is meant to be exciting because it is the beginning of this cycle, but it is now a race to see what arrives first out of my scan date and my husband's police record check. It seems that someone in NSW has a police record and some details in common with him and no one can tell me how long it will take them to realise that it is not him. I am ringing the police records department daily and all that they will tell me is that it is a slow process. And I can only hope that our child protection check gets back in time too.

So despite being organised and sending forms off weeks ago my cycle could be cancelled because some desk jockey does not process our forms in time. And there is nothing that I can do about it.

I should be getting excited, but I am feeling helpless and so frustrated by the Victorian process at the moment.

Sorry for being a downer girls but it is nice to get it out.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Cheers, J
