I see a bad-ass mother who don't take crap off of nobody
Just wanting a general consensus to settle an argument.

At a wedding/party/function, what do you think if somebody yells out "funny" one liners from the audience in the middle of the speech?

Being childless doesn't make me less of a woman
If it is actually funny then I don't mind at all but if the person is really drunk and is trying to be funny and they just are not then I think they should shut up!

It is so rarely funny and mostly I see it as quite pathetic, look at me sort of behaviour.

Depends, it can be quite off putting for the speaker, unless they're quick on their feetand come back with something.

Was at a wedding recently where the best man said "groom had his feelings of love hidden deep inside and it took the bride to come along and she sucked it out of him."

I dont think he realized what he had said, until several people started snickering and saying "sucked it out." and laughed.

It was great, everyone was laughing including the bride and groom.

Rude.

If you have something to say, then get up in front of everyone and say it - don't just yell it out.

If its funny then great because some people certainly dribble on when they are making a speech sometimes and breaks it up. If not funny then not so good and the person just looks like a dropkick.

is it only a dream that there'll be no more turning away?
Yelling out something "funny" to embarass someone is the height of being a bogan knob jockey. Get up on stage if you think you're so bleeding witty mad.gif
