Mum to two boys!! :O
I am planning on taking my kids to see this tomorrow. They are 6.5 and 3.5 and have a very low scary threshold. Do you think it will be okay for them?

I took my 4 and 5 yo to see it in 3D: was fantastic, not super scary, lots of singing etc, no boring bits, I thought it was a great kids flick!

I'm advanced but not too advanced
It is an awesome movie but if it your child's first movie I would just go to the 2D version. My DD (aged nearly 7) was a little scared of the 3D effects - though after a while loved it.

I took my 3.5 yo and 5yo. Their fear threshold is super low (they are scared of the care bears and gummy bears! rolleyes.gif )

Its also the first time they've ever seen a movie at the cinema (although they've been to drive-in before)

They both LOVED it. There was one scary-ish scene early on when the Lorax leaves the city, it lasted about 2 minutes and the older one got a alittle nervous - after that it was 100% fine and they had a great time.
