So, baby #2 is only a couple of weeks away. We have decided on the name Isla if it is a baby girl
However, I am stuck between Juliet and Josephine as a middle name!
Both are family names, with Josephine probably a bit more 'family' as Juliet has come from my paternal grandmother, Jewel.
I think I am leaning towards Isla Josephine, but just wanted to get the EB name guru's expert opinions haha!
Thanks original.gif

Insert something witty.
Isla Josephine is my pick. I prefer it based on length - I love Juliet too - dont think you can go wrong!

I love them both, perfect choices. I'm a huge fan of using family names as middle names, and would never personally consider a middle name just because it sounds good.
So I would say honour your grandmother. I'd probably use her actual name and go Isla Jewel.
But, if you are still thinking Juliet, I prefer the Juliette spelling.

Sadly, I think Josephine fits better with Isla.

But I'd choose Juliet over any of the names. It's so, so pretty.

Hey Joza,

two thumbs up for Isla, love that name!
When I read your topic title I thought 'That'll be tough,' because both Juliet & Josephine are gorgeous names.
To match with Isla, though, I would definitely go with

Isla Josephine
