As the title says, what do you think of the name Emma? Is it outdated & boring, or do you think it's still a nice, pretty name?

DH suggested this name to me & while I'm not in love with it, I do like it & it's by far the best one he's come up with by himself lol I've never been one for nick names, but Emmy is quite cute & I could see myself using it.

I like Emma, I think it is classic rather than outdated. I know several over a large age range and it works well for all of them! Easy to spell, easy to say, can be shortened to Em or altered to Emmie.

Really like Emily, DH doesn't. He also doesn't like Imogen, it's too weird for him apparently. He likes 'normal' names lol

I absolutely love it.

My husband's cousin is Emma (with the same surname as ours), otherwise we'd probably have used it for DD.

I have always loved Emily, but I think I'd lean now more towards Emma, since Emily is so commonly used.

Moving on ...
Classic and beautiful. I know a 7 year old Emma, who gets Emmy and her dad sometimes calls her Emmsie. But she does get Emma most of the time.

I love Emma, it was on our list. My best friend when I was little was Emma, and she was (and still is) gorgeous. I also know a 10yo Emma and a 3yo Emma so it's definitely still around.
