It is that time where I deserve a drink. Who wants to join?

It is the first hockey round of the season starting in 30minutes. I am the secretary of the junior section of the club, this is my first year. So have "managed" with the help of others, getting the 231 children registered, put into teams and training sorted, clearances sorted etc. The number of emails I have "done" over the past 2 months is beyond imagining, the phone calls etc.

It has been a NIGHTMARE especially with the first round happening at the end of the school holidays here in Vic. Of course, everyone says it is easier after the seasons starts, and I know it will be easier next year.

I hope it is safe to have this drink, if it isn't sorted now, it is probably too late.

Come and join me.

Just poured my first glass of cheap wine.

Been fuming about idiots in my face all day so even the nasty vinegar-esque rose is going down a treat.

This. Except I managed to scrounge one of DH's bottles of Penfolds and my idiots are recalcitrant uni students who refuse to incorporate feedback into submissions (and then wonder why they get crap grades)

Does the four month sleep regression ever take the form of sleeping well at night but deciding daytime naps are for the weak?

I'm with you already... just finished my first glass after a day of running around with activities and play dates for my kids.

I'm trying to not drink during the week, so this glass was so good... off for a second.

I have to drive DP to his 'male bonding session' and collect him again - after the Easter long weekend police blitz (nabbed twice in 5 mins!) I'm too scared to even have a single sundowner!

When they go "Have you had anything to drink madame?" I need to be able to say "No officer, nothing at all!" otherwise I will burst into tears!!

Damnit... I've got vodka in the freezer and fresh limes aplenty too.... I am SUCH a good partner am I not?

Would it be wrong to try and induce labour at 37+5 just so I can join in? I'm going crazy here.
