I know Thea is supposed to be "tay-uh" but for some reason my lips just wanted to say "thee-ah" |

If you used it as a middle name, with Sierra first, I'd pronounce it Lee-oh-n, but otherwise I'd say Leonie.
Thea would cause a brief moment of confusion, and I'd probably ask. I know a Thea who pronounces it with a sort of hard "t", but not quite Tay-uh, and I would think that it could well be Thee-ah, so I'd probably pick one at random and/or ask. |

we are looking for a first name. middle name is Eloise.
my hubby is dutch and he said that thea is pronounced tay-uh not thee-uh. but i know australian pronounced names differently from european/asian. we like: 1. leone 2. thea 3. mavis 4. gretchen but im not confident with pronouncation of leone and thea now. |
