That doesn't LEAK!
It needs to be a pop top one, and not be too $$. Ive tried the kids Smash brand one (as its for DS) but it leaks like a sieve.
Can anyone recommend a good one?

Try the Brita ones. I thought they were quite reasonably priced and none of the ones I have purchased so far have leaked.
Given mine usually end up somewhere in the bottom of the pram under the nappy bag and whatever shopping I have tossed in the basket or rolling around the boot of the car under the pram and assorted heavy bags of groceries I think I can safely say they don't leak!

On the flip side, replacing the filters can get expensive if you do it according to the recommended time schedule. I replace the filter in mine whenever the water tastes funky so a good bit less often than is recommended.

I've got the Thermos insulated ones for DS - he loves it, flip tops and straws. Dropped it a few times and doesn't seem to matter, unless it lands on the actually place lid, then it might chip or break.

Love it so much that I got 2 for myself....put a couple ice blocks in and keeps it cool all day.

All Mums in playgroup have 1 or 2 bottles for their kids now...replacement parts can be ordered as well.

Or try.....Amadeus Cow Cup.......I use this for his bedside water, doesn't leak at all - even hubby is impressed with this one. I know they are getting new stocks later in the year with no handles for the older kids. I've ordered one in blue.

DS had one of those Decor ones last year and it lasted 3 terms at school before it started leaking and he chews the top, drops it, kicks it around (I'm pretty sure ) so I thought that was OK.

I'd just use a pump bottle!
You used to be able to get them in the 400ml size but I havenr seen them at my local woolies for ages.
Cheap to replace, doesnt leak.

They come in all different sizes. Shops like Matchstick, Kitchen Warehouse and House have them. They just have limited choice as there are a large number of different styles.

The ones in the link are the smallest ones for children. They are very easy for the children to use and best mimic normal drinking techniques as well

The only ones I like are from Kathmandu. They are not pop top but have a straw with a plastic cover. Easy to use for DS1 who has trouble opening things. I have never had a leak or spill.

ETA: they are clear plastic which was a requirement at preschool so they could monitor fluid consumption. Also BPA free.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I had a look at the Bobble ones BCBK, the price put me off a bit, but if they dont leak & last a while maybe I'll just bite the bullet. Do you have to use the filter with it, or can you use it without?

Oh, and the one we have is SISTEMA, not SMASH as my original post said
