I see a bad-ass mother who don't take crap off of nobody
Try it without your period. I did.

I also cut the stalk off mine straight away.

I have a diva and love mine too. My advice is if possible stay close to home this cycle, where you have access to water/shower, as when learning to empty and re-insert was kinda messy.

I also found putting it in while sitting on the toilet the best position.

I trimmed my stem too, but just do a little bit at a time. Yes and give it a few cycles to get the hang of it, before you like it or not.

Flow-wise I am super heavy the 1st couple of days & even with regular emptying I need to wear liners and I have one of the bigger sizes.

They get so comfortable (once you are a pro at it) I have forgotten I have got it in lol!

I trimmed off half the stalk OP. I think you can safely trim half straight away if it is bothering you as if you find you need the stalk there is still plenty there.

The juju is a slippery little thing with a super soft and flexible stalk, so Id suggest not cutting it until you think there is a need to. If you feel it poking you, trim just a small amount at a time.
You may find the salk pokes you at the end of the day or after a few hours, which probably means it could do with emptying.

I got a Diva before getting pg with DD & absolutely loved it. I'm finding now that I've just started using it again that it isn't working as well, things have moved around & my cervix is sitting lower than it used to. Maybe that will change over time, I hope so because I'd hate to go back to anything other than a cup. Are other cups smaller? My period is quite light so I don't need a big one if there's smaller ones around.

Hi thatsnotmyname, the one I ordered is made for women over thirty who have had children. Apparently the sizing has to do with muscle tone as we age or have babies. Perhaps you need to upgrade?

Eta- I just checked the juju cup website, it seems that the one I ordered is 6mm greater in diameter than the one for under thirties. Hope this helps!
