Toilet training in Winter, have you done it?

We did, just worked out that way and having done it I'm not entirely sure why there's such a 'thing' about doing it in summer. My DS wore baby legs, no undies and t-shirt and jumper - worked really well. He then progressed to undies, then pants etc. If they're ready, then just do it and enjoy the eventual result of no nappies!!

After a failed attempt during summer we just pulled out the potty, dd can undress herself and take her nappy off so just going to leave her to it. Already one poo and a wee this morning on her own accord. Not sure how I'll go when it comes to leaving the nappy off, pull ups were an expensive waste during our first attempt.

DS is almost 3, but is really pushing on TT. He is pretty much there. We do have 1-2 accidents a day and I did have to buy extra trackies. And I have a lot of washing at the moment, which I am struggling to dry - it's cold here!! I think the idea is there are less/lighter layers for them to remove or you can let them run around with no pants. It is also easier to get washing dry in summer! But hey, if they are ready they are ready!
