I found out yesterday I'm pregnant! I kind of knew after I was late for my period this month, but then thought I was crazy! I did have a tubal ligation 10 1/2 years ago after my daughter was born. I had blood work done yesterday to confirm with the doctor and check my hormone levels. I'm now patiently waiting because I either have a etopic pregnancy or there is a chance it could be normal. My emotions are all over the once right now! My husband was is such shock! I just can't wait to know and move on from there! Anyone else go through the same thing???

I haven't been through this but I hope everything is alright with you and your baby. How are you feeling about the surprise pregnancy besides the shock?

I think asking in one of the other sections might give you a few more answers maybe in Pregnancy tips, questions and info.

Not personally, but a good friends Mother had a tubal litigation after her 3rd C-section. Post C-section she fell pregnant with her 4th child. The pregnancy was viable & she had a healthy baby girl at term.

I know of someone who conceived after a tubal, she had 2 boys already and had a baby girl.

All was perfectly fine.

Her OB checked her tubes during her ceasar, he still couldn't believe how it happened lol

in the week between christmas and new years 2011 i was rushed into emergency surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. they saved my right tube as the pregnancy had died and stopped growing, and just had to do keyhole surgery. its now mid April and i just today found out i am pregnant and i'm really scared that it's going to happen all over again cause the doctor said it's 15% more likely to happen again with a second pregnancy. im feeling little twinges next to my right hip bone but im also feeling them on the left and in the middle occasionally too where last time i think it was all on the right...i need to hear as many good stories as possible to keep my nerves from eating me alive! i want details of all the twinges you ladies felt if you dont mind sharing. im not going to go to the doctors until next weekend to get the ball rolling there cause i know im too early for a scan. last time our first scan cost us $170 and the lady found out nothing, it wasnt until a week after that i has been in an unbelievable pain that the hospital did a scan and found it

keeyannemchugh, my sister had an ectopic, lost her tube, and now has a 8 month old. Her early scan had showed she'd ovulated from that same side! No idea how that works, but apparently quite common. Goog luck
