ATO has record of all your bank accounts - that's why you supply your tax file number when opening them.
If it a business debt they can freeze your Business account. |

Yes they do but for some reason the bas/debt recovery departments don't access those records. Only the account you have listed with the bas dept. The ATO is very disjointed and the different departments do not seem to share info |

Yes I calles back.
They told me I had to send in financials so I have. I'll start making making payments next week and hope like hell they will be gappy with my proposal

Rather than legal advice, you could see your local mp. They can talk to the ato n your behalf (I did it for a company that was on the verge of collapsing and losing jobs in the local area). Mp helped organize ato and payroll tax to be paid weekly for a year instead of in a lump sum.
