DH just text me, he is in Phuket for work.

His hotel shook and woke him from nap (he flying out on the red eye tonight). He called work and let them know and let to his co-workers know in Bali.

His bags are packed and he is ready to leave right now.

XXXX stay safe precious XXXX

They expecting 6m wave.

OMG I don't even know where he is staying! he stays in hotels every time he goes to work so I don't even bother finding out where he stays.

I hope everyone in Sumatra and areas affected are all safe and ok

Wow. First I'd heard of it. I hope your DH is OK i-candi.

Looks like the quake has hit right around where the last Indonesian Tsunami was. Couple of hundred miles off Banda Aceh.

At least your DH should have time to move away from the beach.

Here's hoping there is no tsunami.

I am sure your DH will be ok, OP. Thank goodness for the new Early Warning System that was put in place after the Boxing Day Tsunami.

Dh said he is on the top floor of the hotel. SIL knew where he was staying!!!

He not happy his sleep was interrupted - he has to be fresh for work!!! he did say something about the airport on water???? maybe he meant next to water??? not sure, I've not been to Phuket.

I'm not going to sleep tonight, I'll stress until I know he is safe.
