We have almost finished building our house which is quite modern.
We have a small, approx 2 x 2 mtr enty foyer when you walk in the front door and I'm trying to decide what kind of light fitting to use here. The rest of the house is comprised of drum pendants to the living areas, downlights to kitchen with pendants over the breakfast bar and in most rooms. I was thinking a pendant of some description and we have 2.7mtr ceililngs but unsure of what style and size. Our house will have neutral colours of beige walls and white architraves with brushbox flooring. Does anyone have any ideas? |

I think a statement light is necessary for the entrance. It sets the tone for the rest of the house. I'm currently trying to track down a drum light that's filled with drop globes so it's a cross between a drum and chandelier. WOuld that suit?

I totally agree that it needs to be a statement light.
I know the lights you are talking about but dont think it would quite work in with the rest of our decor unfortunately (the chandelier part wouldnt go) and because we have drum pendants in the main living areas I'm hesitant to put another one in the entry.... |
