Hi, I am Kelly 41 years old and married to my soulmate DH who is 44 years old.

When DH and I met 6 years ago we thought we would be able to do things the old fashioned way, ie get married, buy a house and have a couple of kids, however in hindsight we should have gone straight to starting our family. In December 09 when we weren't having any luck falling pregnant I spoke to my GP who referred to my FS in Sydney.

Suffice to say, after going through loads of tests, the one that knocked me for six in early 2010 was the one where I found out my AMH was <0.4 at 38 years old. This is pretty low and unlikely we will achieve a pregnancy without intervention.

Ever the optimists, we started IVF shortly after to have our first cycle cancelled as I was a poor responder. Cycle 2 produced good results with 2 eggs, one which fertilised, however quality wasn't the best and it didn't stick. I was on DHEA for months, and was taking a cocktail of vitamins each day and cycle 3 produced a single egg. We still went ahead with but unfortunately our lone egg didn't fertilise. Cycle 4 was cancelled and our FS has advised we are going to need some help to become parents which is what has prompted me to write this advert.

We cycled twice with a known egg donor last year and achieved a pregnancy which sadly had no heartbeat at 7w. We have decided to re-advertise for a new donor due to reasons that we and our lovely donor weren't aware of at the time of the donations.

So, a bit about us...

We live Sydney and have a couple of furkids. We both have full time jobs and I also do volunteer work at a animal shelter on the odd weekend and week day. We both love spending time in the garden and DH is a fabulous cook who takes great pleasure in using herbs and veggies from the garden to create beautiful meals.

We are pretty relaxed about the relationship that we would have with our egg donor, and would be happy to meet someone who is a special auntie or alternatively someone who was happy to be less active as the child is growing up.

We are keen to stay with our FS in Sydney whilst we'd like a local donor, we'd cover costs for all interstate expenses.

Thanks for reading our ad.
