Hi all
Just wondering when you purchase a kindle book through Amazon can you download it to two sites at once. I am thinking of purchasing an ipad and this would be handy as DD and I often want to read the kindle at the same time. Just wondering how you get the books on both without paying twice and how hard it is. Ali |

It's very easy. I have an iPad for me, a Kindle for my oldest son and my older daughter has the Kindle app on her iPod. All I have to do is select which of them I want it sent to when I click the purchase button. If I want it sent to more than one device I can do it from the Amazon site as well, from "My Account" select "Manage Your Kindle" then all the books I've purchased are listed with "Actions" and that is where I send it to another device.

I think I read somewhere that you can link up to six devices to one amazon account.
I have an iPad and a kinde and it's very easy to manage. One thing I love about kindle and amazon is it almost self manages. It's great for a techno illiterate fool like me lol. |

Out of interest, I am looking to order a Kindle from Amazon, is there any extra adaptors we need for our power? or are they ready to plug in and go?

Not sure where DH got mine, but it doesn't come with an AC adaptor, it charges via a USB cable to the computer, which is provided with the Kindle.

Thanks for the info girls, and I agree that the Kindle itself is awesome for the techno illiterate ones such as I
lindasjc - The kindle will come with everything you need and that sounds like the same price I paid for mine. I recommend you get a cover as well (I got one with a light) and get them sent at the same time. Ali |
