Nothing changing here. Mamabug I hope it works tomorrow.

My concern is that he continues to strain hard to get a little bit out and having watched him often enough with his nappy off I think he is trying to go (rather than not as the Dr suggested).

I wish it would stop being so distressing for both of us sad.gif

I wish I knew what to do next!

Ok, dinner to cook - happy weekends all. Xx

DinoJ - just popping in for a Poo Watch update?

roll2.gif I love you Mamabug original.gif

Anyway - last night we had two ok poos, in that it wasn't big, certainly nowhere near big enough, but both were more than a 5 c piece (usual amounts).

I forgot to add, he had suppositories but the Dr said to stop them, the consistency is slightly harder than play doh, not dry or hard. Today was back to usual, medicine this morning, a few attempts all day, some major attempts but bugger all output. He's eaten bugger all again too.

Argh!

In other news - WHY is Essendon losing to the Gold Coast? Not only will my team lose but my tipping will be stuffed. Huh!

Love to all. Hope your team is winning (well, not your rugby teams as I think the Rebels best bet is whole lot of draws and losses from the rest of Aus!)

DinoJ - how did I miss the fact (or manage to forget during the off season!!) that you're a Bombers girl???? Himself will be relieved that I am associating with the "right kind" of people on-line!

As for the footy, at least they didn't lose to Greater Western Sydney....

But, back to Poo Watch. I would be inclined to keep using a suppository just to lubricate the passage and to relieve the pain/pressure on the fissure. The output may not be dry and hard, but he is still struggling to get it out, so it may help. Perhaps when you see him having one of his major attempts is the time to use a suppository as he is in the "mood" to go, and it may help everything come together?

Could be that there is still a hard plug in the system which is slowing everything else down.

Poo! Hooray for Poo! And in a disgraceful TMI sharing moment, month old poo has exactly the odour one might expect - blerk! What a relief, now to see what happens next...

Mamabug - I presume you missed me being a bombers fan as I rarely talk aboutt he AFL and am (confusingly) also a demons member (family Membership - DH) I am trying to talk DH around before the kids get too old to be swayed, the Dees are just the same old same old and this is now 4 coaches so I think they need to look elsewhere (maybe starting with their motivating staff!

Enough Footy, how is everyone else?

My ILs and DH are down at phillip Island today so I'm home alone with both kids and wondering if there is any chance of getting either of them to bed before DH gets home around 10pm? Hmmm....the little one has been averaging 9pm since the ILs arrived and the big one has been averaging 8pm. I also have an assignment due so I kind of need them to go down. I will be torturing the little one awake after this nap (so from around 2pm) and not letting him sleep so he better be tired by 7pm at the latest!

Not much else here, the ILs have extended their visit so we have 3 more days to fill in!

YAY for poo!!! This sort of momentous event from Ladybug during her bound-up stage was usually accompanied by the three older ones capering around gleefully cheering that it was "Poo Day". Poo Day was always worth celebrating!!

So, down to details: Volume? Texture? Colour? You have already thoughtfully covered aroma! Did it look like it got the worst of the plug, with something softer behind? How did poor Teddy cope with the event? Did there appear to be any further damage in the fissure area?

See - there is someone who cares!

Yay for poo!! So that's that - Teddy's bowels are a clean slate now?

As for me, morning sickness is here with gusto. It is the worst I have ever had. Please can I just curl up in bed for the next six weeks or so until its gone. I am tired enough that I could probably sleep that long.

Poor Goosey Girl. sad.gif

Sorry you are feeling so blergh. I hope you do get a chance to rest a bit - you are being very busy at the moment growing a baby. You need to be looked after.

mamabug - a question for you. How do you hide your pregnancy from your older children through morning sickness? Owen is self centred enough that he has not noticed that I am unwell, but there is a bit of "Where's Mum?" "Mummy's asleep *again*" and he nearly sprung me with my head in the toilet today.

Goosey - tell Owen you're sick and that should cover it for everyone he tells original.gif I'm sorry the ms is hitting you, boy there are so many things I don't miss about being pregnant! Of course another actual child would be nice!

Poo - well, since you seem so interested...

He did a big semi-solid light brown poo this morning that nearly filled his nappy. An hour later he did enough poo to fill several nappies laughing2.gif the second lot started as baby poo consistency but ended up a bit runnier at the end, it was live a poo avalanche, I stupidly took the full nappy off before it exploded so instead he pooed all over it, him, me, the nappy change table and as many wipes as I could get my hands on! He hasn't done one since, but as I say, he has done about half his body weight in poo so that's probably enough for one day biggrin.gif

I have also managed to get him to bed on time, fingers crossed he stays there. Now for the big one...
