Climbing Plant, recommendations

Hi All, I am wanting to put a climber against a fence in our back yard. The area gets both shade and sun. We currently have three conifers in that area so the climbers would sit on either side of the middle conifer. We plan on putting lattice or something on either side for the climber to go up. I am looking for a plant that doesn't grow too tall or wide and has nice flowers. It will also need to be something that I can get easily from any nursery. I don't want something that can overtake everything. Also would it be better to go with two of the same plant on either side or a different plant on each side. Is it possible to grow two different plants on either side ie trumpet vine and star jasmine. What can you recommend? This post has been edited by samandimmysmum: 10/04/2012, 01:52 PM
