DF and I have decided to buy DD1 a scooter for her birthday. Not a motorized one :pWhere would we buy one from? I'm talking a good quality one, not a cheapie from Big W/K-Mart/Target.

Check out the micro mini ones. Depending on her age they have 2 types to choose from. They look pretty basic but are brilliant. When you turn handles wheels move etc(might be something they all do but h love this feature)
My dd has been Ooming around on the smaller one since she turned 2.
You can by on net or bike stores I think.

My kids all have Razor scooters (available at Big W, Target, KMart (?), Toywporld etc.). They are much better quality than the cheapies at those places but regularly go on sale so you can pick them up at very reasonable prices. We have one Razor 3 wheeler that's 6 years old and still going well (a bit faded and scratched).

We got DS's Razor scooter from Big W in the toy sale last July. Really good quality- my adult friend rides the same one, so they are strong. They are also height adjustable.

I agree with PP on the Mini Micro. The two wheels at the front are more stable than two at the back and the leaning to turn is easier than twisting for the LO.

I'm looking for a two wheeler razor, too. ANyone know where they might be on special atm? Had a look in Rebel Sport yesterday, but definitely not on sale.

You can get a simple Razor for around $45 at Rebel Sport. It's the cheapest I have seen them
