Gold! First ever. Before I read I will write as my iPad wouldn't load up this site for days! Other sites yes but not this one. Weird.
Should be 9w today but scan has me at 8w5d. HB is 187 and bubba moved on the scan today. Grown from 1.56 to 2.2 cm in a week. Best news is that if my NT scan results all good then I am not recommended to have the amnio. Fingers crossed. Night sickness worse. Afternoons killing me. Dinner no go unless it's hot chips ....

Hi ladies,

Sorry for being absent for the past week. Am trying to catch up but feel like I have missed out on so much!

Am continuing to feel pretty yucky which is why I haven't been online much and we had my Mum stay with us over Easter. I had my scan last Tuesday which showed that I am not as far along as I first thought. I am now due on November 22. We saw the little bubba and they had a hb of 117bpm. Was really reassuring to see the bub there.

Hopefully I will be more motivated to be online this week. Hope everyone and there bubs are doing well.

*stormgirl77* Pimples ... me too. I've got them with DS1 and DS2 as well. The good news is that mine have started to clear up now but I think I had more in the space of 2 weeks than I had throughout my entire teenage years LOL. Ok, maybe an exaggeration but when you're feeling kinda icky anyway, pimples certainly dont help !!!!

AFM I'm online now looking up hospital choices and researching doctors. I am 9wks tomorrow so I've set myself a task to find a doctor, book for my NT scan and book into a hospital by the end of the week. I think I can do that.

I'm also looking to see if I can send my 3yo to kindy/daycare somewhere too ... I think that's going to be much harder - I dont have the first clue as to what centres are classed as 'great' and which ones are dodgy. My research continues ...

x

Storm girl - yep, plenty of pimples here. I'm ten weeks tomorrow and they are just starting to ease off. Not much I could do to reduce them since they were hormonal.

Christmas is coming - hope you find the hospital and doctor you will love. My doctor was recommended by a friend and countless members on EB and I seriously love him. It's the most positive experience I've ever had with a healthcare professional.

Lcm86- quite a few of us have off dates. Mine have also changed a few times now. Congrats on the heartbeat!!

Franno- that's a great heart rate! Nothing can calm nerves but seeing that baby on the screen well and truely healthy. My MS is at it worst at night also which makes taking any pills at night next to impossible usually leading to gagging and vomiting. Yuck!

AFM- I'm off to Thailand tomorrow for a nice break. Will be totally over the top with what I eat and do to save myself worrying until my next scan.

The next scan is my NT scan at 12w2d which is about 2 weeks away. Dh is taking time off work after missing out on all our scans with heartbeats so I Can't wait!

Then I guess it will be announcement time. I think then it will be more real.

franno - glad to hear the scan went well. I'm yet to have my first scan.

LCM - I'm feeling pretty icky here too. Just feeling nauseous, no vomiting. But gosh I wish I didn't.

Stormgirl - I am feeling the same, no scans, only 1 doctors appointment, and she just wrote me some referrals, so it still doesn't feel real yet.

Christmas - Good luck choosing hospitals and daycare. Living in a small town, we don't have many options. It took a while for my little man to settle, but now he has great fun at daycare.

Spring Chickadee - Enjoy your trip to Thailand. At least it will help pass the time quickly original.gif

AFM - The whole pregnancy is seeming very unreal, other than all day nausea, I haven't had any other symptoms. I finally remembered to book in for my 'dating' scan, so I have that on Monday. Now that it is booked I am starting to feel nervous. It will be great to see little Valentine on the screen.

I've been keeping pretty busy with housework and looking after my son, and it is making the days go quicker. I'm hoping to get a heap of work done while he is at daycare tomorrow since I am on school holidays.

Hi Everyone,

Just letting you know I'm joining your group from afar. Nice to imagine the Aussie voices from over here in Turkey. Mine is due November 20 and I've known for a week. My morning sickness was bad until Elevit vitamin - it's still queasy at night time so I sleep early. I've always had a sensitive nose and now it's full on - wish the neighbour didn't cook onions everyday. (As I type, hubby is cooking onions!)

So it's nice to read your messages and know what's expected.

Take care,
Turquoise
