Has your little one ever had a bad nappy rash as a result of eating a certain food?
Im not sure if it because DS is: teething got a cold doesnt react well to yoghurt? (seems there might be a correlation, and will stop giving him yoghurt again this week to see) is pooing more (the poos are even different... a light greeny grainy colour/texture) He is only on formula now as he fully refused to breast anymore 2 weeks ago, but had been on formula for a few months leading up to it, with mixed feeding. It just looks so red and angry.. am using sudocream, and giving nappy off time as well.. |

Hi there,
I'm not sure if certain foods could cause nappy rash, but I'd think that if there was more poo's going on and if they are different to normal (which might be caused by a food reaction?), this might be also contributing? Sorry this isn't much help... |

My 3 y/o DD has an allergy to salycilic acid so cannot have anything with citrus in it. we find that peach, apricot or blueberry yoghurt affects her as does eating berry fruits.
She gets exceptionally bad nappy rash and also a rash around her mouth if the food happens to touch her skin. I find that on the occasions she gets it (its not just fruit that contains this acid) Curash Baby Cream works best |
